Former CHAIRMAN honored


Former HD40A CHAIRMAN Chuck Erickson was presented with a certificate of recognition by the Republican Party of Minnesota at the State Central Committee meeting
June 13, 2009. Chuck was cited for distinguished and invaluable service to our conservative cause.

Message from SD40A Co-Chair: Political Contribution Refund Form

The Political Contribution Refund program is coming to an end on June 30, 2009. This program has allowed us to make a $50 per person or $100 per couple contribution to a state campaign or political unit, i.e. Senate District 40, and have it reimbursed.

Please consider making your contribution to Senate District 40, if you have not done so already. Also, please ask your family and friends to contribute to our Senate District. There are only a few days left, since your contribution needs to be received by June 30th. Please make your check payable to SD40 RPM and mail it to:

Senate District 40 picnic

The Second Annual SD40 family picnic will be held July 25th from 2-7pm at Neill Park in Burnsville. To get to Neill park, go south on 35W and exit at Burnsville Parkway and go west to Upton Ave. South. Turn North to the entrance to Neill Park. There will be balloons near the entrance.

Better late than never- special invite for SD40 member

SD40 in the News

Former SD40A Chairman Chuck Erickson was a special invitee to the RPM Elephant Club reception May 26th in honor of House Republican Whip Congressman Eric Cantor at the Minnespolis Club. Chuck had an opportunity to chat with Governor Tim Pawlenty, former-Senator Norm Coleman, RPM Chairman Ron Carey and several state representatives regarding Conservative issues.

End of Session

Yes folks, our legislature ended without balancing the budget. They did pass a medical marijuana bill, a seatbelt law, and omnibus elections bills which would allow early voting and a "cultural heritage dedicated funding bill." It's up to the Governor now to balance the budget.

Budget Hawks rally at the Capitol- from the MN Majority

Come to the rally tonight at 5:30 PM at the State Capitol. The legislative session ends today!
